Organizational Commitment (OC) is indispensable in determining teachers’ interest in the Education Sector (ES) as it influences the quality of education provided by an academic institution. Till now there is no comprehensive study on OC in the ES. To fill the gap of studies in OC in the ES, this study provides a bibliometric analysis. To uncover the Decipher of intellectual, and influential structure, this study provides a quantitative scanning of publications to reflect the transitions in research performance (Publication transitions, top-notch authors, sources, organizations, nations, and articles) through performance analysis and knowledge foundation through co-citation analysis and bibliographic coupling. Three thematic similarities based on co-cited references, three and five based on co-cited sources, and co-cited authors have been identified. Furthermore, five, five, twelve, and ten thematic clusters have been uncovered on the basis of sources, authors, institutions, and nations through BC. Utilizing the Scopus database, a complete 190 published papers, from 1969-03 March 2023 were fetched.VOS viewer 1.6.18 and Biblioshiny via R studio 4.2.2 bibliometric tools were used for constructing and visualizing scientific landscapes, thematic networks, and thematic maps. The systematic mapping study in thematic research in OC in the ES aids in the identification of transition in research interests and provides understanding and vision toward upcoming research directions. Our findings offer an evaluation of the OC in the ES research.
