The major challenge facing higher education institutions is their ability to formulate a proper vision, adopt a clear message, and establish suitable objectives to embrace exceptional strategies in accomplishing their tasks and achieving quality performance. It also involves competing with and surpassing traditional teaching methods that lead to stagnation and mere survival. Therefore, we should give our students the opportunity to reach the stage of creative and innovative thinking. This is a behavioral aspect that manifests itself in their interaction with society, characterized by modernity, non-conformity, and the absence of rigid or stagnant thinking. It is achieved through producing creativity and innovation, as learning to think creatively has become a necessity imposed by the current era. Teaching thinking skills is a response to the requirements of facing the challenges and manifestations of globalization in various aspects of societal life. This is considering the rapid changes in science, knowledge, invention, information flow, and the potential provided by communication means for individuals and communities. Hence, this research attempts to determine the possibility of developing creative skills for university students by utilizing knowledge to enhance teaching performance. This is done by encouraging parallel thinking and organizing information based on strategies that aim to develop students' skills and achieve their creative thinking, leading to exceptional performance and innovation.
