AN EXAMINATION OF EMPLOYEE MOTIVATIONS AND PRACTICES IN MOONLIGHTING DURING HYBRID WORK CULTURES

Abstract

Human Resource Management is encountering an altar and also the growth of a new approach to successfully handle the employees. A company may suffer huge losses like revenue generation, because moonlighting may give workers the chance to reveal trade secrets if they are employed in a same job. Some of the risk factors, which are pointed out by companies to employees moonlighting, are conflict of interest, absenteeism, poor attentiveness, abuse of employer’s resources. According to a recent report one out of five employees is engage towards side gigs with their present job and it also recommended that more than 40% of employees of a country find moonlighting. In this study we are discuss about the employee’s motivation and practices in Moonlighting during hybrid work culture. This study also talks in detail about the career development through moonlight.
