This study examined the effect of cost and energy, economic, environmental, and industry-related motivators on the adoption of green buildings in Pakistan. Partial Least Square‐Structural Equation Modeling techniques was employed on the survey data collected from 333 respondents. The results revealed that cost and energy, economic, environmental, and industry-related motivators were significant motivators for adopting green buildings in Pakistan. The study suggested that the government of Pakistan should take a proactive stance in promoting the adoption of green buildings to achieve sustainable development goals.
